Our recycled aggregates protect the planet's valuable natural resources and are a responsible alternative to new primary aggregates.
We work hard to reduce our impact on the environment and avoid landfill by recycling 100% of the waste we gather. With our aggregates, we process the brick, rubble, concrete and inert waste materials we collect as part of our waste management services and recycle them into secondary aggregates. All our aggregates are available by the tonne and can be collected from our yard or delivered by our team. Delivery and haulage is charged by the hour.

Recycled aggregates
Reducing the carbon footprint and cost of construction has become of primary importance for the whole industry. Using recycled crushed hardcore materials is a quick and easy way to be more sustainable. Recycled aggregates are lower cost than newly quarried aggregates and reduce the impact on the planet’s natural resources.
At JWitt, we have invested in the latest equipment to ensure our recycled aggregates are of the highest quality. All our aggregates are produced in full accordance with the WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) Quality Protocol.
Our recycling process starts with the raw material that comes into our recycling centres; concrete, hardcore, tarmac, hoggin, ‘as dug’ ballast, brick, stone, rubble, etc. This is checked over by our team before tipping, crushing at a specific size and close screening using our five-way split unit.

Our recycled aggregates are a by-product of the recycling activities at our site and offer the construction industry a responsible and relatively low cost alternative to primary aggregates that deplete the planet’s precious natural resources.
We crush construction waste such as stone, bricks and rubble using state of the art equipment. It is then graded as per the WRAP Quality Protocol before going on to be reused in construction projects as recycled aggregates.
We always ensure that we comply with the UK’s building regulations and that all materials are collected responsibly from a sustainable source.
